The seventeenth hole is a new hole which is a par 4 of 362 yards and marks a return to one of the original holes played up to the 1980's. From the back tee the drive looks tight and you need to aim just right of the two conifers to the left of the fairway. There are ditches either side of the fairway so a straight drive is essential to help you reach the green in two. Playing your second shot from the left side of the fairway means the conifer just short of the green gives you a better line in to the flag. Beware of the stream that cuts in front of the green.
